Kelly Michelle Stables, born in St. Louis Missouri was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a degree of with a laude for Theatre and Communication. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles, she became involved with theater arts as she began performing as well as choreographing over 2 dozen plays and musicals such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera in addition to seven titles roles in LA's prize-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to secure the roles for films and TV when she was studying improvisations in The Groundlings. Kelly's distinct voice and diminutive size have enabled her to play a variety of roles. She is known for her work alongside Naomi Watts taking over the part of the villainous Samara in The Ring 2 but is most well-known for the glamorous bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of an attorney and a social animal in TV the show Land's The Exes in the role of a series regular between 2011 and 2015. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's charming, smart sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW series No Tomorrow. She has lent her soprano singing voice to several cartoons including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recent roles include the dim yet lovable Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Super-hit comedy Superstore. She's married to two young kids and lives in a tranquil house. She loves to write, sew and volunteer in the schools.
